Seam-annealing
Seam-annealing systems built by SMS Elotherm, for tube diameters from 3 to 24 inches, provide perfect seam annealing thanks to optimally controlled power distribution matched to the tube speed. Speeds adjusted to suit the welding process, optimal frequency selection, process data monitoring and management ensure a uniform, homogeneous seam with continuous precision. The ELOMAT frequency converters developed and manufactured by Elotherm guarantee high levels of reliability due to accurate adaptation to the requirements of each processing stage.

Tube welding
SMS Elotherm tube-welding systems are designed as economical modular units based on tran sistor technology ranging from 50-2000 kW. The ideal frequency selected from a range of 50-600 kHz guarantees optimal conditions for HF welding of steel, aluminum, brass or copper. The control, regulation and monitoring functions can either be implemented locally or linked to a downstream seam-annealing process. |
